Cascade Fence & Deck was founded in 1997 by the Kaski family. Known originally as Cascade Vinyl Systems, the Kaskis provided vinyl materials and installation to the Portland area.
In 2002 Brian Kaski bought out his partners and became the sole owner of the company. In order to meet changing customer needs, Cascade began offering wood fence and deck options.
After many years of serving the commercial and new construction markets, Cascade’s leadership team made the bold decision to focus the service experience entirely on homeowners. Big changes in the planning and installation process were required.
By providing plenty of information up front and creating a standard for installation, the company has been able to offer a premium service for a competitive price.
In 2023 Cascade Fence & Deck was bought by long time employee and active general manager Leif Wirtanen.
Today, under Leif’s leadership, Cascade Fence & Deck is focused on sustaining a culture that attracts high quality employees and value driven customers. All in the hopes of providing the best contractor experience building fences, decks, and patio covers.
