At Cascade Fence and Deck, we are excited to introduce the Cascade Sauna, combining high-quality materials with practical design for a great outdoor sauna experience.
Dimensions and Construction
The Cascade Sauna features a 7×7-foot footprint, providing a spacious yet compact area for relaxation. Its foundation is built on a pressure-treated 4×4 base for stability and durability.
Premium Materials and Insulation
The sauna is constructed with Douglas Fir Kiln Dried lumber, ensuring strength and a clean look. It is insulated with rockwool and a reflective barrier, optimizing heat retention and energy efficiency.
Design Features
The sauna includes a ½-inch thick tempered glass front window for safety and insulation, along with a glass door (2′-6″ x 6′-8″) equipped with black hooks for hanging towels.
Interior Layout
The interior features a two-tier bench system made from 2x2s and 2x6s, providing comfortable seating. The lower bench is 2’-6” off the floor, and the top bench is 1’-6” above it. The flooring is made of 2×6 cedar, known for its durability and natural look.
Lighting is controlled by modern black exterior switches, with can lights outside and a strip light under the bottom bench. Circular mesh vents ensure proper ventilation, with placements near the stove and in the furthest corner.
Exterior and Roofing
The exterior is protected with a vapor barrier and UFP EDGE vertical siding, combining weather resistance with a sleek appearance. The roof is fortified with ice and water underlayment beneath black standing seam metal roofing for durability.Heating and Additional Features
The Huum Drop 9kw stove, equipped with rocks and a standard wall-mount controller, provides efficient heating. A circular drain directly under the stove manages excess water. The sauna is also equipped with a hose bib for an easy outside water hookup.Additional Costs and Warranty
